BUMPER SEBAGAI IDENTITAS PROGRAM ACARA TV (KASUS STUDI "CERIWIS" DAN "EMPAT MATA" 2005-2006)

Bumper terminology not only known in automotive world. But, in television world term of Bumper be used. Media as one message. This is not just enough to social consequence and personal from just media, this form new reference result in live that known by thinking extension or by a new technology. Message structure used by TV channel program Bumper as media conveys a identity. In each category of TV channel (news, entertainment and promotion) Bumper always be present. Not surprised various of TV channel have Bumper attractive which colors of television world now a days.



Prime problem these skripsi concern : How role Bumper in conveys message or information, more far again in development of elements visual which appear identity TV channel limited by short duration ( limits duration with determination appear to appropriate visual and mixed elements visual that exist to Bumper in short duration form important factor into made in Bumper. Whereas problem limits is Bumper to channel of Talk show Ceriwis an Empat Mata.


Prime purpose these skripsi is to know role of Bumper in conveys message or information in order to appear identity TV channel by study choice object visual and element visual exist to Bumper in short duration.


Result of research and analysis be found that, in application Bumper to TV channel programs specially to Talk show Ceriwis and Empat Mata 2005 – 2006 become identity that channel. This case be proven with used elements and design principle that form important element in appear identity that channel among other as : colors application, typography, object, visual effect, space, sound effect and proportion. Element visual have role in each into bring strong message to audience, all at once become new identity to channel program.


Based on result on research above two Bumper that obvious research similarity that used icon presenter in application Bumper, used jingle in made special for that channel, and used visual effect that increasing of estates value to Bumper. Whereas difference used of differ colors used of differ typography, used of differ visual effect, used differ duration, application Bumper Ceriwis used visual effect “reflection”, while application Bumper Empat Mata used of visual effect “lens flare”.


Known that Bumper have big effect and significant toward identity toTV channel by strong to used custom, language, gesture, ang usage seven element visual which form identity visual. From all element that exist to Bumper to object visual element have big effect in appear identity TV channel. So that element very necessity in created animation Bumper.
